Educational Tour and Outreach

Greece 2026

Perth Bible College is planning our third Educational Tour and Outreach to Greece in October 2026. During the four weeks in Greece, students will explore some of the New Testament sites in Greece, visit several ministries in Athens, and serve with a ministry for a week.

Throughout the decades, PBC has given students the opportunity to take part in cross-cultural ministry in various countries as they learn about the culture, religion, and worldview of the people they visit. From 2008 until 2019, students were introduced to ministries in Cambodia, and in addition from 2016 onwards, to several countries in Eastern Africa. During the PBC International Mission Teams outreach in December 2019, the team visited Kenya, Uganda, and Greece, providing training to local believers and refugees. It was during this outreach that a combined outreach and educational tour to Greece was envisioned, giving students an on-location
understanding of the geography, history, context, and culture of Ancient Greece, in which the Apostle Paul and others ministered, together with an opportunity for practical outreach and exposure to ministries in Modern Greece.

In July 2022, the first team from PBC toured through Greece, visited different ministries, took part in a Bible distribution campaign, and followed the footsteps of the Apostle Paul in his second missionary journey from Kavala (Neapolis) to Corinth.

Overview of itinerary

Explore key biblical sites where the Apostle Paul ministered, including Philippi, Thessaloniki, Berea, Athens, and Corinth. The journey includes archaeological site visits, in-depth New Testament studies, and daily devotions, enriching your understanding of Scripture through history and context. Students will also experience modern ministry in Athens, visiting local churches, refugee ministries, and social outreach projects.

After visiting historical sites and studying Paul’s letters, students will engage in a week-long placement with a ministry aligned to their gifting and interests. The tour includes flights, accommodation, transport, meals, and site entry fees, with opportunities for free days and cultural exploration. An optional extended stay is available for those wishing to complete an additional academic unit.

Deepen your faith, expand your cultural understanding, and be inspired by the work of the gospel in both ancient and modern Greece. Places are limited so register early to secure your spot.
