Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Seminar

March 7 - March 8

$150

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) has long been a key approach in counseling, used widely in both secular and Christian settings. Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) builds on CBT by offering a more holistic perspective. Together, these approaches provide valuable tools for effective counseling.

By the end of this seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the core principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), including their key similarities and differences.
  • Apply effective interviewing techniques to assess client needs and develop structured therapy plans using CBT and DBT frameworks.
  • Design and facilitate therapy sessions that foster a collaborative relationship between therapist and client, promoting meaningful self-discovery and personal growth.
  • Reflect critically on their own experiences using CBT and DBT in counseling, identifying areas for professional development.
  • Implement CBT and DBT techniques in a flexible, client-centred manner to support effective therapeutic outcomes.

This seminar include professional development certification.
