The Master of Counselling is a comprehensive Christian counselling course that equips students with a range of skills and practices across different counselling areas.
Offered in a blended delivery setting, the course emphasises cultural awareness and person-centred approaches, teaching essential modalities for effective counselling while guiding students in their professional development.

Students not only receive a postgraduate qualification that can support their career in a number of professional settings, but they also receive the required eligibility for professional counselling association membership through the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
Perth Bible College (PBC) is a Member Institution of Australian University College of Divinity (AUCD) and offers its Master of Counselling.
Admission to the Master of Counselling requires:
- Hold a three-year AQF 7 counselling award or equivalent, such as the AUCD Bachelor of Counselling, OR
- Hold a postgraduate qualification (AQF 8 or above) in Counselling, such as the AUCD Graduate Certificate in Counselling, OR
- Hold a three-year AQF 7 award in any discipline other than counselling, OR
- Hold an AQF 8 Vocational Graduate Diploma in Counselling (or equivalent), OR
- Qualify for professional entry as determined by the Student Support and Administration Committee, AND
- Satisfactorily completes a pre-enrolment interview with a relevant course advisor.
English Proficiency: Applicants whose entry qualifications were obtained in an institution where English is not the language of instruction normally require a minimum IELTS (or equivalent) score of 7.0 in all bands of the test. (Below information is AUCD-specific guidelines and may vary from the PBC course requirements.)

Applicants must confess their faith in Christ under the PBC Statement of Faith, be involved regularly in a local church, demonstrate a desire to be involved in church ministry, demonstrate the physical and psychological capacity for studying in a tertiary institution, agree to abide by PBC policies and procedures and agree to abide by the Student Code of Conduct.
