Rev Stephen Poisat
Principal
Reverend Stephen Poisat is an ordained minister who has worked in leadership and community care roles in the NFP sector for 27 years. He is an accomplished theological leader, specialising in pastoral theology, ministry supervision and counselling.

Dr Andre van Oudtshoorn
Academic Dean
Dr Andre van Oudtshoorn has worked in ministry for 44 years. He is originally from South Africa and specialises in Systematic and Practical Theology. He has served in various churches and denominations in South Africa and Australia.

Prof Stefano Salemi
Dean of Postgraduate Studies, Director of Research, Director of the Australian Centre for Biblical and Theological Research (ACBTR), and Associate Professor of Biblical Languages, Studies and Theology
Professor Salemi possesses the rare expertise of someone with multiple doctorates from the UK and Italy in biblical studies and languages, and theology. He teaches and conducts research in the fields of biblical studies and exegesis, hermeneutics, Hebrew and Greek languages and semantics, biblical and systematic-historical theology, reception history, and intertextual studies.

Dr Stephen Young
Dean of Undergraduate Studies and Associate Professor of Biblical Studies
Dr Stephen Young chose his career in Christian education as he saw young people abandon their faith because of the approach to biblical studies in the classroom.

Dr David Michie
Dr David Michie specialises in counselling at PBC and has been working in the field for 38 years in government and private sector roles. He believes that abilities are not possessions but gifts to be stewarded for the sake of God and others.

Dr Jenny Cox
Dr Jenny Cox teaches Study Skills at PBC and is also the Academic Tutor. Jenny has studied theology at Bible College and university, including completing a doctorate in theology, her specialisation being Systematic Theology. She has published peer-reviewed articles on disability theology and women in ministry.

Dr Shannon Hood
Dean of Counselling and Chaplaincy
Dr Shannon Hood initially worked as an Engineer, concluding his corporate career as a Senior Manager with Deloitte. After that, he studied to be a Pastor in the Lutheran church. During his theology studies, Dr Hood discovered a love of counselling and started volunteering as an Emergency Services worker. In addition to his work at PBC, Dr Hood has an active private counselling, supervision, and consulting practice.

Nicholas van Rheede van Oudtshoorn
IT Systems Administrator
Nicholas has been working in his field for 25 years, looking after PBC’s IT systems since 1999. He also pastors a church in Rockingham and wants to help people discover more about who God is and what it looks like to live in a relationship with Him.

Kari Minetto
College Administrator
Kari grew up in Norway and completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at Bath University in the UK. She met her husband Marcel in London and they moved together to WA in 2003. She loves singing, going for morning swims and visiting her family back in Norway as often as she can.

Judy Smith
Librarian
Judy loves working with PBC as it allows her to do two of her most favourite things – being surrounded by books and helping people. Outside of work, Judy enjoys reading, Sudoku and playing piano.
Debbie Allbury
Receptionist
Debbie immigrated to Australia from Zimbabwe with her husband Peter and two little boys in May 1992. She has extensive experience within the area of administration, ranging from marketing to running a training department for a large non-profit organisation to managing a market research company.
Sarah Park
Office Assistant
Originally from South Korea, Sarah studied accounting and was a staff member of the JDM mission organisation, which reaches out to university students. She was sent as missionary with her husband and two children by JDM. She now serves a Korean church with husband Samuel, who is senior pastor.

Becky J Shaw
Dean of Students/ Admissions Officer
Becky completed a Master of Divinity at Torch Trinity Graduate University (TTGU) in Seoul, South Korea. She also worked at TTGU as a research assistant in the Spiritual Formation and Ministry Centre, and was part of coordinating several conferences while at TTGU. She has served in church ministries in various capacities, before moving to Perth, Australia via Exeter, UK.
