Welcome to the PBC Podcast
HOSTED BY DAVID SHAW
Join us for thoughtful conversations exploring faith, ministry, and theology in the context of Western Australia.
Through conversations with guests from a diverse range of ministries, professions, and walks of life, we explore the questions, experiences, and ideas that shape how we understand our faith and live it out in the world.
Whether you’re involved in ministry, studying theology, or simply curious about faith and its place in everyday life, the PBC Podcast invites you to listen, reflect, and join the conversation.

Annelize Jensen is a Perth Bible College graduate.
She has worked in aged care and hospital chaplaincy, and more recently transitioned to the mining industry as FIFO chaplain (FIFO = fly in/fly out), whilst studying for a Masters degree in counselling.
In this conversation we talk about how Annelize came to know Jesus; her life before training for ministry at PBC; and her chaplaincy experience since graduating from PBC, including her being the inaugural recipient of the Professor Con Michael Clinical Excellence Award for Patient Experience (Individual) by St John of God Health Care.
We also discuss why someone might consider hospital chaplaincy as a vocational path.
